Lexile Content Development Tool Used By Growing Number of Industry-Leading Companies
MetaMetrics®, developer of the widely adopted Lexile® Framework for Reading, is pleased to announce a growing number of partnerships with education companies using the recently enhanced Lexile Analyzer® Editor Assistant™. The Lexile Analyzer Editor Assistant provides a fast and efficient way to develop text at specific reading levels. The latest adopters of the tool include Accelerate Learning, Pearson Learning Services, Saddleback Educational Publishing and VIP Kids. These join many other education companies already using the Lexile Analyzer Editor Assistant such as Edmentum, Kids Discover, National Geographic Society, NCS Pearson, News-O-Matic, Key Data Systems, Time for Kids and McGraw-Hill Education.
The Lexile Analyzer Editor Assistant is used to determine the Lexile® measure of a particular text along with providing access to important characteristics of the text. The tool enables users to rewrite and edit text directly within the platform while receiving Lexile measures on demand. Additionally, users can access logistical support features including file sharing and category tagging between users, a revision history and search capabilities.
In 2017, enhancements targeted to early-reading demands were added to the Lexile Analyzer Editor Assistant. To better encourage reading growth for beginning readers, tool subscribers can utilize early-reading technologies to more precisely measure the text complexity of reading materials aimed at early and developing readers.
