Media Enhanced Educational Books Receive Popular Text Complexity Metric
DURHAM, NC — (August 25, 2015) — MetaMetrics®, developer of the widely adopted Lexile® Framework for Reading, is pleased to announce its partnership with Weigl Publishers Inc. Weigl Publishers Inc. creates top quality educational materials and now provides Lexile measures for titles from their AV2 media enhanced product line.

Lexile measures have been assigned to titles from the AV2 by Weigl product line for use in K-8 schools and libraries across the U.S. AV2 by Weigl is a line of media enhanced books that have audio visual and added value multimedia components. The media enhanced books have a unique book code on page 2 of every title, which unlocks interactive online content, such as videos, quizzes, activities, slideshows, and more. All AV2 books also feature trusted and reliable content, based on National Standards and Core Curriculum State Standards.
